While we are out of the country, I decided to check an item off my bucket list that has been there for over 20 years: “Open my own small business.” For those of you thinking, “Isn’t Amber Sue Photography your ‘own small business’?” Absolutely…however, my childhood dream included a little boutique filled with all my handmade treasures. You see, since I was a kid, I have always had a little kit of beads, ribbon, paint, and thread. Friendship bracelets, paintings, stringing beads for necklaces, and hot gluing ribbon onto headbands. As I grew, the craft box naturally grew along with me. Of any category, my bead collection has gotten the largest of them all, so to keep me busy in the evenings (while my husband is reading–his favorite pastime) I tinker with wire, beads, pliers, and even photoshop to burn my creative energy in Jerusalem. The “store” I now run isn’t in a building, or at some kiosk in a mall…it’s my Etsy store. Right now it’s filled with jewelry I’ve made from beads collected around the world. Earrings and rings are my favorites…plus I tried my hand at graphic design last week and came up with these custom home photographs. People all over have been ordering them and giving them as gifts . If you’d like to get more details about them, CLICK HERE and you’ll go right to the page. CLICK HERE if you want to go to my Etsy storefront. I’ve had a number of former ASP brides and other clients order prints and pick out jewelry. I cannot thank you enough for your continuous support even when we are such a great distance away!
Here’s the beautiful 8×10 I gave to my mom for Mother’s Day!
