Kevin and I spent two weeks in the western fjords of Norway in a small town called Nordfjordeid. There we stayed with some friends of ours who we met in Hong Kong. A pastor and a teacher. Both are incredibly kind, strong, and hospitable. During our stay, we met their three granddaughters, who instantly became my stand-in-nieces during our visit. We made jewelry together, went for walks, bought buns at the local bakery, and even picked berries. As a thank you to their bestemar & bestefar (grandma & grandpa), we snuck them out into the backyard and snapped some photos of them picking berries off the bushes. I am a HUGE fan of themed sessions like this where people can just be as they are while doing something they love. Enjoy these little Norwegian beauties!
