Lexi, gorgeous mama to be with motherly glow to boot! I’ve had a ton of calls and e-mails about maternity shots in the last few months, so I wanted to get a few of these images up to give you all you preggo ladies an idea of what you can expect.
The number one question I get asked: “What should I wear for my shoot?”
We did this session in the fall (hence all the bare trees), so Lexi’s choice of a clean and crisp black top as well as a fun patterned top were perfect choices. Neither are overly busy and distract from her face (and belly). I love a tight fitting shirt for at least one option so you will be able to see just how awesome your belly looks!
Second most common question: “What can I bring to make my session unique?”
Lexi also brought a pair of booties (which coincidentally got lost in the tall grass for a few day–luckily my hubby was persistent and found them!), as well as an ultrasound photo. These make fun little additions to your typical portraits. Other things you may consider bringing: bunting, a chalkboard, blocks, a ribbon belt for your belly (Etsy is a great place to find these kinds of items).
Don’t skip maternity shots! Especially if this is your first baby. You’ll never regret documenting the loving smiles and excited eyes in the days prior to baby’s big appearance! Call me to set up an appointment today!
